What it does

WP Referral Clarity is an add-on for AffiliateWP that explains every referral in plain language, to you and to your affiliates. Affiliates finally see their pending referrals and roughly when they will clear. You get a charted dashboard, saved and scheduled reports, and flags for suspicious patterns. It only reads AffiliateWP's data and never changes it.

A dashboard you can read at a glance

Revenue, referrals, conversion rate and flagged anomalies at the top, a 30-day revenue chart, and your top affiliates ranked by what they earned.

Every referral status explained in plain language

Affiliates see why each referral is still pending and when it should clear, right in their Affiliate Area. The same explanations show up for admins, so you stop answering "where is my commission?" emails.

Segment, save and export any report

Combine filters for status, date range, affiliate, campaign, source and product. Save the view, schedule it as an email digest, or export it to CSV or PDF.

Suspicious patterns flagged for review

Rapid repeat conversions, referrer/referee matches and volume spikes are flagged for a human to review. Nothing is blocked automatically, and AffiliateWP stays the system of record.

Wording you control

Edit the admin and affiliate wording for every status and context, including your own custom hold reasons.

The problem

AffiliateWP is good at tracking referrals. It is less good at explaining them. In an affiliate’s own dashboard, paid, unpaid and rejected referrals show up, but a referral that is still pending doesn’t appear at all. From where the affiliate sits, a sale they drove has vanished, so they email you to ask where it went.

The admin side has its own version of the gap. You get lists and totals, not reasons, and anything beyond the default reports ends up in a spreadsheet.

Version 1.1.0

* Multisite: one license covers the whole network, and each subsite running the plugin counts
as one site against the license's site limit (1, 3, 5, or unlimited). The license is stored
network-wide and only a network (super) admin can activate or deactivate it.
* Adding a subsite, or activating the plugin on one, takes an activation automatically; deactivating
the plugin on a subsite or deleting the subsite frees it again. Updates are only offered while
every subsite running the plugin is activated.

It runs alongside AffiliateWP and never changes its files, so you can keep updating AffiliateWP as usual.

Frequently asked questions

Does this replace AffiliateWP?

No. It is an add-on that requires AffiliateWP. AffiliateWP remains the system of record for referrals, affiliates and payouts.

Can affiliates see why a referral is pending?

Yes. Pending referrals appear in a panel at the top of their Referrals tab with a plain-language reason, and an expected clearing date if you have set an estimated resolution rule for that status.

Can I change the wording affiliates see?

Yes. Referral Clarity → Status Explanations has admin and affiliate wording for every status, and you can add contexts for holds specific to your store.

Will it slow my site down?

The dashboard reads a precomputed snapshot instead of querying your whole referral history on every page load. Reports run live, but only when you apply a filter.

Does the anomaly detector reject referrals?

No. It only lists patterns for a person to review, with a link into AffiliateWP's own referral screen.

Who can see the admin screens?

Anyone with AffiliateWP's manage_referrals capability, which is the same people who can already manage referrals in AffiliateWP.

What happens if AffiliateWP is deactivated?

WP Referral Clarity shows an admin notice and does nothing else until AffiliateWP is active again. Nothing in AffiliateWP is changed either way.

What does the licence include?

One licence key for 1, 3, 5 or unlimited sites, whichever you pick at checkout, valid for a year. Every licence has every feature, plus all updates and support for that year. If you don't renew, the plugin keeps working but stops receiving updates.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes. Email support@pluginsprout.com within 14 days of buying, from the address you bought with, and we refund the full amount.
